INVERTED FRIDAYS

This marks the end of the first week since that we started the challenge. We began making the structure that picks up the wiffle by installing stands to the robot and using two wheels that will both bring in and lift the wiffle ball up. Jasen also began to work on the launching mechanism that we will install in the future. He basic screwed some metal together and he will finish it up later next week. Henry is making more progress of making the chain link part on Solidworks and Tanner began working on the actually robot on solid works that he is going to work on during the weekend.

10/29/15

Today we switched the structure for the chassis of our robot so that it accommodates the position of the motors. Also Henry began making the chain link part in solid works so that we can add it to the solid work robot that tanner is working on.

10/28/15

We started to work on the robot but we made little progress because we had to fix little issues with our blog. Now we have the Bios for all the members of our group and we notified and sent the link to Mr Martin. For our robot we removed the old motors and replaced them with brand new large motors that will make the robot perform better. We also took out the gears and we plan on making the gear ratio of the robot 1 to 1 so that it is both fast and powerful.

TOOLBOX

Today we spent most of the period organizing our toolbox. We pretty much made sure that we had all the parts that the toolbox required were in the toolbox and we removed parts we were hoarding like screws, axiels, batteries, etc. We were also informed that we can have a certain number of parts such as four batteries and two chargers so we check the voltage of the batteries and took the best four batteries.

First Day At Work

Today many things were completed. Me, Henry, Dylan, Tanner, Jason, and Micheal decided to join forces to do the Kobe challenge. Today Tanner created our new blog TG-INVERTED and added us all to the blog. Me, Henry, Dylan started and finished dismantling our robot from the old challenge to use as parts for Jason and Micheal's robot and build from that. Everyone from the group pitched in their own ideas for how to do the challenge. Our plan is to order tank treads and use a design from a old robot. Mr. Martin also gave all the groups new parts as a gift.
